Blogging is all about support and community. When you put your words out there for the world (or
a few people. Whatever.) to read, it expands from private thoughts to published opinions. The fear of
rejection, the apprehension of the unknown—and yes, whether or not anyone is going to comment can
all impact your ability to blog.
My estimation is that this is a fair assessment for many bloggers. However, many bloggers are
also lucky enough to come across someone who provides support, encouragement, and confidence to
their community. These people not only support their fellow bloggers but find a way to help the blog
community as a whole.
One such blogger whom I am lucky enough to call a friend is Nicole from By Worth of Mouth Musings. Not only
is she one of the most fabulous women I have ever met with an amazing accent, but she is an
amazingly supportive blogger as well. Generating memes for bloggers such as her Monday’s Muse to highlight a blogger who gives back or her weekend Facebook-building memes, Nicole wants to
be sure the term community is not lost among her readers. She takes it a step further with her Time Travel Tuesday, her incredible meme that encourages old bloggers and new
alike to sign up and increase ether Klout and Alexa rankings. What better way to learn while you travel
among some great posts?
Again, blogging is about community. Together, bloggers can achieve so much more than if they work
alone. The best strategy to achieve more than you might alone is working with bloggers like Nicole who
focus on sharing the bloggy love.

Ashley is the guru behind most of my knowledge when it comes to the technical side of things. She’s not afraid to walk me through things and explain to me why I have to use certain code to achieve an effect I want.
