Wow it feels like a long time since I was able to write a Pro-CRAFT-ination post! I’m happy to say that I DID complete my ‘red’ highlighted items from last time!
How about we have a little linky party next week?? Please come back next Monday & link up a post that is crafty & something that maybe you put off doing for awhile or took you longer than you thought

I am going to pick something from the list each week and highlight it in RED. If it’s not crossed out by the next Monday feel free to toss (virtual) tomatoes at me ok?
Here is the list and I’ve crossed out things that are done:
1. Bathroom floor to be painted & sealed See this post to see why I’m just tiling now lol Only 1/2 crossed out because the tile job is only 1/2 done.
2. Completely empty old craft room & put it into windowless room. Most of it is in there. Stuffed. pushed. mashed together. I need to purge.
3. Move Lil Man into old craft room He sleeps in there and there is a twin bed (frame needs to be painted) and a dresser in there but that’s all that’s his. Hangs head in shame. This needs to be priority Number One.
4. Strip & repaint nursery room door & frame (lead paint detected) I removed the door and placed it outside. Does that count a little??
5. Paint nursery walls.
6. Lay nursery floor. (currently plywood)
7. Try to reconfigure crib.
8. Make curtains for nursery
9. Make mobile.
10. Make Lil Man curtains
11. Finish lining living room curtains
12. Make playroom curtains
13. Finish fabric storage for playroom
14. Sew Velcro to play kitchen curtains to hang them.
15. Tank top refashion See this post.
16. Maxi dress refashion
17. Doggie door painting & install
18. Train table
19. Old window into craft room storage
20. Paint new countertop to match my painted laminate counters. Blogged it here.
21. Finish sanding & sealing kitchen floor.
22. Paint trim, stair risers, & railings in dining room
23. Paint kitchen
24. Paint new light for dining room & hang Started to hang it (decided not to paint) & we found not only is there not a junction box in the ceiling but the current light is wired up to old knob & tube wires-seriously….SO freakin dangerous. So we need to fix that before I’ll hang a new light.
25. Make Miss E some dresses. I am determined to make her one for Thanksgiving. *Fingers crossed* Blogged it here.
26. Strip wallpaper & paint on hallway.
27. Type up & digi-scrap my recipes.
28. Finish Sewing the ‘little’ window curtains for camp.
29. Finish one more cushion cover for bench at camp.
30. Couch covers. I started!! I’ve had the fabric since Feb. 2008….about time huh??
And here’s what I’ve been up to lately:

Finally sewed on the velcro & hung the curtain!

Made little Man a foldable fabric bucket for his music instruments-he LOVES it!

Is it perfect? NO! But is it useable? YES! I have plans to make more- would you like a tutorial???

LOVE LOVE the fabric bin!!!! I’m not very patient when it comes to sewing, but I would love to see a tutorial, then perhaps I shall be inspired!
I currently have a list that unfortunately is growing every time i go back to it! For instance, this morning, i went to see what could be crossed off (which was only ONE thing, but still….) and I ended up adding 3 more things… then I decided I need to re-arrange my craft space… so now there is MORE added to it! But it needs to be done! I have exactly 28 days until my belly casting party, which is my goal, but I don’t know if ALL of it can be accomplished. What would you do?

I never accomplish everything on my to-do before _____ party lists. If I did my kitchen floor would’ve been done 2 years ago! Pare it down to the absolute necessities! If you have clutter in the main party area then clear that first (but don’t create a bigger mess in another room by just shoving it in there!). Touch something ONCE-make an immediate decision & if it is to donate it (yard sales are MONTHS away in this weather so don’t hold onto it for that ‘someday yard sale’) then take it immediately out to the car or place it by the door then set a date to go to Goodwill.
Less stress=better parties. I’ve never heard someone say at a party “I had a great time because your house was spotless!!”
remember people are coming to see YOU & celebrate not to do the white glove test!
