Hi everyone!
Welcome to Tell Me About It Tuesday!
(sidenote: I realize I didn’t post a Freebie Friday OR a Sew Summer Saturday….you get double freebies on Friday mmmkay? I was so busy that I dropped the ball on that one-forgive me?)
Back to Tell Me About It Tuesday!
This week I want to tell you about the coolest new thing I got a few weeks ago.
I don’t know if many of you know this but ever since getting the iPhone4 about 6 months ago ALL of my blog photos have been taken with it. This is good for me because I don’t have time to learn a DSLR or the money to buy one right now. It produces crisp and easily editable photos for me and I always have it with me so that’s always good.
But.
There are some draw backs to cell phone cameras.
If I want to zoom in I have limited capability to do so.
If I want to do a supreme close up it won’t do that either.
If I wanted to take a wide-angle photo because my rooms are so tiny that’s about the only way to get the whole room in the photo- you guessed it-won’t do that.
Until now.
I saw someone pin on Pinterest a cell phone lens adapter (you can use your regular camera lenses on your cell phone) and thought it was a joke because it looks so crazy but I clicked over anyway and started looking around the site.
It’s name?
Photojojo.
I ended up buying a 3 lens set for my cell phone.

3 lenses
It has a wide angle/macro lens, fish eye lens (not sure if I will use that one), and telephoto lens.It was only $50 for all three and despite it saying it would not work on my iPhone4 without a case I stuck the magnetic lens ring on and let it set over night and it’s been holding great ever since. I received a couple rings with each lens so if this one stops working I have a few backups and I could always get a case later.

This is the magnetic sticky backed ring on my cell phone

I’ve been using these lenses for 3 weeks now and LOVE them! They are tiny and have magnetic covers for the backs and rubber lens caps. The magnetic covers for the back have a loop attached so I can clip them on my key ring and always have them with me.

L-O-V-E people, LOVE.
for $50 I now have the solutions to the cell phone camera problems I had.
Here is a before/after of a flower from my Vow Renewal Bouquet:

Not bad huh?
I’m curious: What do you use to take your blog photos and would you ever buy something like this?
Have a happy day,

Oh KILLER! I just got my iPhone 4 last month and love it but have not used the camera much (but having a camera was one of the main reasons I got it to replace the one I normally carried in my purse). Thanks so much for sharing this, I have got to go check out these lenses! I never would’ve thought about extra lenses for the phone. I normally use my DSLR camera for my blog photos but when I am out and about I want to have the ease of just carrying my phone or if I spot something I won’t say “rats, wish i Had my camera!”

Pamela, They do have a stick on adapter for using your DSLR lenes on your iPhone as well (it looks really odd but people say it works great!) so check that out as well!
Thanks for commenting!
Super cool, I had never heard of this. I will have to see if they make them for my non I phone, ha. I am waiting NOT patiently for wedding pictures.

I’m so glad to see a review if these-I saw them on Pinterest too but wasn’t sure if they would be worth it, I’m convinced now, thanks!
