Indoor S’mores & It’s raining inside!

Seriously. It rained IN my house today….my mom stayed the night last night and took a shower this morning….and it rained right down through my bathroom floor onto my kitchen floor.

My 3 year old was excited for it to be raining inside…..

Mommy was not.

So I decided today was the day to go off my ‘eating sensibly’ kick and have something to make me feel better. The other day I was talking on Skype with my friend Ashley about some finishing touches on my Blogger to WordPress move she did for me & I saw a tweet of hers that said she hadn’t ever tried Nutella (I KNOW! How?!?). So she asked what I ate it with and I said that I usually just spread it on bread, or bananas/apples, etc. Then an idea popped into my head: It would be sort of like a super easy S’more if you used Nutella with Fluff.

So today after pulling down some super wet ceiling and finding an awful patch job under neath then cleaning up the floor I made myself a S’more sandwich and thought about how to fix the problem (it’s not a leak- whoever updated the original plumbing cut the holes around the pipes too big so if the floor gets wet at all it runs into the ceiling below).

Can I just say this sandwich was awesome and sugar filled and I didn’t care one bit?

Please ignore the spoon...I ummm, had to taste the Nutella beforehand so I knew if it was still good or not...yeah- that's what I was doing

Just for the record I’ve decided to rip out the old flooring, put down new sub-floor and then tile because that is my ultimate goal before we sell this house (which we plan on in a few years) so why not now instead of a band-aid job?

So go have some S’more sandwich (or if you actually had graham crackers you could just spread Fluff on one and Nutella on the other YUM!!) and feel my pain of just getting ahead financially and now I have to shell out around $500 cash (no credit or loans bc we are following Dave Ramsey) to buy the supplies and get a few big men to lift my claw foot tub and live without ANY bathroom for at least a weekend (guess I’m staying at my moms haha) just to permanently fix a ‘small’ problem of rain in my kitchen. Good thing my bathroom only measures 5 feet 8 inches wide by 5 feet 9 inches long (yup- just about 36 square feet total)

Ok so please leave a comment telling me it’ll all be ok?
