GE Profile™ Advantium® Oven | {Taco Bake}

So the hubs and I love tacos. They are easy, fun and our kids will eat them!

Ways to make them even easier include putting them together in a different way and just popping it in the oven.

Want to make that even easier? Use the Advantium® so that the pre-heat time is much shorter. The Advantium®-while a large oven for it’s size-takes half the time of my ‘regular’ oven to pre-heat.

Taco Bake:

Ingredients: 1lb of ground beef, 1 packet of taco seasoning, 2 cups refried beans, 8 soft corn tortillas, 1 can black beans (drained), 1 & 1/2 cups shredded cheese, tortilla chips.

Directions:

Pre-heat Advantium® to 350 degrees with a 15 minute cook time.

Brown the ground beef in a skillet then add the seasoning mix with about 3/4 cups water & the black beans. Cook for about 10 minutes. Use a 9×13″ pan & butter it then layer the corn torillas, refried beans, skillet mixture then cheese. Repeat this like a lasagna until you finish filling the dish. Scatter crushed tortilla chips on the top.

Bake.

Serve with spinach salad.

GE provided me with the Advantium® for free in exchange for me to post about my experiences using it. Post content & wording is up to me and is in no way dictated by GE. I have not been compensated in any way other than the receipt of the appliance.

Have a happy day,
