101 Days of Christmas

Freebie Friday!| {Blank Mason Jar Invites!}

Ok, ok y’all twisted my arm!

I do want to note that while I hand drew my own mason jar I did see the invite idea & line drawing of a mason jar idea here first. (She also has a free download! YAY!)

I added lemons & a blue transparent glass tint to the front of the invites I made but for you I also have strawberries and pine cones!

Each picture below links to the pdf for that item. (So to get all three you need to download all 3)

EDITED TO ADD: I have NO idea what the heck is going on but I can only upload one or two of the images. So here are the text links and you can see in the 3 image picture below what each one looks like. SO SORRY for the inconvenience!

These are two page pdf’s. The first one is the front of your invite. Then (may be different for different printers!) you insert your front printed page face up in your printer again and print the second page (the inside) after editing the invite information using your favorite photo editing or paint program.

Enjoy & as always: Personal Use Only and I want to see what you make! You are all so creative! Upload to the Sunday show-off Flickr Page to be featured!

  1. These are sooo cute! Thank you for sharing! I might just have to plan a party around these :)

    • Aww thanks! I really like them myself too ;) I’d love to see the party you plan! :) :) Thanks so much for leaving a comment Coley!

  2. Thanks so much for sharing your talent. I just downloaded the pinecone mason jar for my brothers rehearsal dinner invite. Thanks for helping me stay on budget!!!

  3. LOVE LOVE LOVE these and am using them for my daughter’s vintage picnic birthday party! Can you tell me what size paper you used to print them? When I print on 8.5×11 card stock the end (bottom of the jar) is cut off and I’m computer challenged :) Thanks!!

    • Jenny, I used 8.5×11 cardstock as well and I made sure that the image was 8×11 so that the bottom wouldn’t get cut off :( I have my printer set to center my images so maybe try that? If it’s not the centering then try printing with margins set to 0. I hope that helps but please let me know if it still doesn’t work!! (And I’d love to see your finished invitations when you DO get it to work!)

      • thank you so much, i got it to work! just finalizing my text :)

        • Awesome! Was it the centering or margins?

          • I see that you have a million things going on right now, but thought that I would respond since I’m stuck. While I got the entire image to print, I cannot get the two images to print on top of one another so that I can cut them out with even edges. The two halves with lemons are fine, but the text and blank halves are offset by nearly 1/2 an inch. When I fold it and cut it the jars have very uneven edges around them. I tried turning off the centering on my printer and actually cut the paper thinking it would “trick” the printer and the image would print slightly off center, but it’s not working. Your invites look like they printed perfectly…so cute! Not sure if you have any ideas!

          • Jenny,
I am so sorry that is happening for you! If you can hang on until tonight I’ll do some more test prints and send you an e-mail with exactly what I did so maybe that will help? If it doesn’t help then I’ll make you a new blank/word page and e-mail you. They really should print the same since I just ‘hid’ the lemons on the same jar and saved as a ‘second’ page…..hmmmm I promise I will look into it!! :) :) and I am never too busy to help ;) Thanks for your comment!

  4. sorry, just saw your reply…it wasn’t emailed to me! tried a combination of different things and got it to work…not sure what the original problem was, but my husband and i got clever. :) i hope your vow renewal was wonderful!!

  5. VERY cool!! Thanks!

  6. I love these invites!! Do you have a blank template?

    • The inside of all the invites are blank. They fold over and the front is what you see in the preview on the post. Thanks for commenting!

  7. thank you!
