I have always loved those giant spoons or scissors hanging on the wall & I thought I could bring that type of feeling to a fall decor item while still keeping the cost really low.
3-D Foam Fall Leaves!!
Place them wherever you want a little over-sized fun!
You can use a few pieces of double sided tape to hang on the wall since they are so lightweight:
I totally love this look- what do you think?
Do you want to try it?
I also added an acorn to the pdf file as a little bonus & thank you for visiting!

How-To:
I have always loved those giant spoons or scissors hanging on the wall & I thought I could bring that type of feeling to a fall decor item while still keeping the cost really low.
Here is what I came up with:
3-D Foam Fall Leaf Project!
I first created 3 different leaf images in photoshop & printed them on 8.5 x 11″ paper:
Then I cut them out & glued them down to a piece of foam board. I also took the rounded side of my bone folder and ‘traced’ the lines of the veins on the leaves to give the foam a dent into them to make it look more realistic & not just flat.
Next I used an x-acto knife to cut out the leaves & I actually cut a little bit of the colored part off so that I knew I wouldn’t have any pieces of white showing. Just take your time and be careful! Make sure the surface under your foam board is a self-healing mat or a couple layers of cardboard to protect your table.
Now you will have a few rough places & white edges where the inside of the foam board will be seen. You can lightly sand the edges if you want it really smooth & also used colored sharpies to color the edge (or paint them) if you want to cover up that white edge. I didn’t do either of those because you really don’t notice them unless you are right up close.
Then place them wherever you want a little over-sized fun!
You can use a few pieces of double sided tape to hang on the wall since they are so lightweight:
I totally love this look–what do you think?
